This was taken at the Maui Aquarium. It was a little bit of a tourist trap (lots of people, and a gift shop that I could fit two of my apartments inside of) but it had a lot tanks with diverse types of fish. A lot of photos here didn't turn out at all, but once I got my camera figured out, I ended up with a few decent ones... before my camera battery died. Doh!

There's this tank there (ACD - "After Camera Died") that has all the deeper sea critters, including manta rays and tiger sharks. This tank includes a full section with about 200 feet of a walkway that is completely made up of aquarium glass. It comes complete with benches lining it, so you can just sit down and watch the manta rays pass over you. I definitely recommend it - just get there early in order to avoid the crowds ;)

Processing photos....

Jer and I just got back from Maui this morning around 5am. Came home, pet the kitty, went to bed, and woke up around 1ish :)

Right now I'm processing some photos that I took during the week-long trip.

Stay tuned for photos!
